Alcohol Blending Technique

Who would think that rubbing alcohol would help you make a gorgeous background for your card?  By using a piece of vellum, I used Magenta Madness, Mint Macaron, Purple Posy, and Blushing Bride Write Markers.  Cover the vellum with small circles and lines of color. (Can leave small spaces of white among the colors if you want) Use a small paint brush to sprinkle the alcohol all over the colored area. The colors will melt into each other to create a beautiful watercolor work of art!

For an additional touch, I also added some Gilded Gold Leaf spots on the watercolor vellum to bring out the color in the gold letters.  (Make sure vellum is completely dry before trying this)

I garnished with the die cuts from Forever Fern, one in solid Mint Macaron card stock, and the other is stamped with Rococo Rose and then die cut.

The stitched rectangles add a nice touch around the edges.
