Using Joseph's Coat Technique
Get Ready List:
- Base cardstock 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4
- White 5 1/4 x 4 and 5 x 3 3/4 and 3/4 x 2 1/2 and some scrap
- Clear Embossing powder
- Versamark Ink Pad
- Embossing Buddy (if you have one)
- Stamp set that has small branches, ferns, leaves, flowers
- Choose 3 or 4 color ink pads for the underlying color ( I'm using Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay) and a dark blue or dark green to set background (I'm using Misty Moonlight)
- Baby Wipe or paper towel
- Sponge or Dauber for each color
- Coordinating Ribbon
- Sentiment
- Embossing heat gun
- Stamps of butterflies, bees, or dragonfly for example, to garnish embossed layer, helpful if you have the punch or dies for them or fussy cut (we will stamp, color and cut out together)
